Requirement for each rank: In order to rank up to the next skill rank level you will be required to meet the below Character and Battle Style level:

The ferocious storms continued to plague the continent of Nevareth for several months now. Each town officer sustained the protection of each area by invoking upon the secret arts of wizardry, taught to them by the Seven Sages. Every now and then, their powers needed to be replenished by the Core Alchemists, as such magic involved the use of certain complex spells and particular ores.
The last time this story was documented, the young boy named Patren has just found a new friend in the form of a Nevarethan Husky. The bond between the boy and the creature was so profound that the two were almost always inseparable.
Patren and Husky were busy playing a simple game of catch and fetch when they were approached by Aike and Arionell.
“Nice pet ya got there kid,” Aike commented.
“Yeah, it looks nice, considering he has a dumb owner like you,” Arionell cackled.
Patren’s brows came together, his face turning into a frown. “He’s not a pet. He’s my friend!”
Aike laughed. “You’re such a sissy, Patren. My pet Zard can beat that stupid Husky of yours any time.”
“You’re just a bunch of bullies!” The boy got up and moved away, Arionell and Aike’s mischievous laughter trailing behind them.
Patren and Husky moved around the overcrowded town of Bloody Ice, encountering several Warriors, Wizards and Bladers who seemed to grow impatient being cooped up in town. He stood beside Simon, the armor shopkeeper, who was quite fond of him for some reason.
Patren noticed that something was amiss with the town instructor, O’Conner, as he was pacing back and forth.
“Mister Simon, why does the instructor look so worried?” Patren asked.
“The platoon that the instructor sent out to gather Force Cores hasn’t returned yet. They’ve been out there for a week already,” Simon replied, his face also a mask of anxiety. Both of them sat together in silence, their thoughts lingering on what terrible fate the group may have encountered outside the protective barrier.
Just then, the magic portal opened and revealed six CABALists who looked weary and worn out from their journey. O’Conner approached them quickly.
You’re finally back! Thank the Seven Sages! What happened? What took you so long to gather the Force Cores?” the instructor inquired.
The Force Blader in the group bowed respectfully to the official. “We apologize, Master. We encountered several mobs along the way and the snow storm became a bit of a problem for us. But we did manage to get the Force Cores.” He reached for his travel pack and drew out a handful of green, glowing stones and handed them over to the instructor.
The Force Shielder in the group also came forward with a bundle wrapped in a dark cloak. “We also stumbled upon this foundling along the way, Master. We couldn’t just leave it behind.”
As if on cue, the bundle suddenly moved, and the cloak dropped to the ground, revealing a pinkish feline curled in a tight ball. It stirred from its slumber and blinked its doe-like eyes. A tinkling sound was heard with the creature’s slight movement. The creature was wounded.
“Ah, yes. The Seven Sages themselves encouraged the care for all creatures of Nevareth. Well done, CABALists!” O’Conner commended.
He looked beyond the small crowd that gathered and spotted Patren from the curious onlookers. “Boy, could you bring this little waif to Mistress Keller? I believe she has some skill in healing.” He deposited the bundle in Patren’s arms.
The boy eagerly brought the animal to Core Alchemist Keller, who immediately made a poultice to apply to the wound. While the Core Alchemist Keller was tending to the creature’s wounds, it was looking at Patren with something akin to gratitude and fondness.
And in that instance, Patren knew that he had earned another friend.

A young Force Shielder emerges from the portal from Green Despair. It was her first time setting to set foot in Port Lux, and the idea of the unknown both made her excited and nervous at the same time.
While making her way in the town proper, she was surprised to see quite a number of CABALists lounging around, hawking their wares and engaging themselves in personal duels.
“Hmm…almost the same scenario as Green Despair,” she muttered. The town of Green Despair is noted for being the centre of commercial activity for all denizens of Nevareth, which explains the sheer volume of people flocking to the place on a daily basis.
The Force Shielder became wary of the people around her, who seemed to be familiar with each other. She felt out of place, being the new person in the area. She cautiously approached a group of people near the town guards.
“This place is really getting crowded, Talis. We need to switch channels if we all want to boost our levels faster,” said a tall, long-haired Wizard.
“Do you really think that’s going to work, Sylph?” the Force Blader named Talis, asked.
“We know for a fact that there are just too many people in our range that need to power level too. We need to go someplace less crowded.” Sylph the Wizard pointed out.
A big, bulky Warrior came running back to the group, almost stumbling in his suit of armor. “Hey guys, I just got a tip from Agris the Shopkeeper! She says there aren’t that much people at the Premium Channels right now. This is our chance!”
A tall, lithe Blader stopped wiping her twin blade weapons and placed them on a sheath at her back. She approached the Warrior and poked a finger on his armor. “Trell, how many times do I have to tell you that old hag is just playing around to get you to do her quests? What if she’s just leading you around?”
“What’s wrong with doing a few quests? I get a lot of stuff from it,” Trell retorted.
The Blader just rolled her eyes and shrugged.
“Okay, okay…just quit it, both of you. We’ll check out the Premium Channels just to see if what Agris says is true. Let’s go out as a party so we’ll cover more ground. But we need another member in our group…” Talis scanned the area.
“You. The Force Shielder,” he called out.
“M-me?”
“Yes, you. Would you like to join our party? We can help boost each other’s level. We’re going to warp to the Premium Channels, to get a decent spot.”
“S-sure.” “My name is Talis. This is Sylph,” he gestured to the Wizard, “and those are the twins, Trell and Yldera,” he finally pointed the Warrior, who was engaging in a debate with his Blader sister. “The quiet one at the side is Rallen. Be careful though…he’s quite a deadly Force Archer.”
“My name is Callasandra,” the Force Shielder supplied.
Talis smiled. “Welcome to the group, Calla. You don’t mind if I call you that? You have a rather long name.”
Calla shook her head, turned to Hampric the Grocer, paid for the items and approached the group. She was smiling excitedly, thrilled that she finally belonged. Finally, when she stepped into the circle, Talis motioned for everyone to switch channels, and the group disappeared, dust billowing at their wake.
And that’s how their ragtag troupe was formed. It turned out that Trell was right—power levelling at the Premium Channels was a lot more productive as they had a specific spot all to themselves. They also took on a lot of Hidden Helper T Quests, for which they got great items and other bonuses.
But one particular day, something unusual happened.
The group just finished completing the hunt for Bugsharks. They were about to retrieve the reward for the quest, when a booming voice startled them.
Congratulations, CABALists! For your continued patronage of the Platinum Services, behold this gift from the famed Sages of Nevareth, the legendary Edeza Lamp!
From out of the blue, 6 beams of light shot out, channelling to each of the 6 members. When the light dissipated, they held in their hands a rather weird looking lamp-like artefact.
“Oooh..what does this little lamp thing have inside?” Without knowing, Trell opened the object.
Everyone else followed suit, curious to know the mystery behind the strange relic. Much to their surprise, they all got interesting items that are essential in their quest to become strong.
“Wow, Trell. You’ve finally proved your use in the group. This is the best idea you’ve had so far. If we didn’t make use of the Platinum Services to get here, we wouldn’t have gotten these amazing stuff!” Sylph remarked, storing the Force Core she got from the lamp into her inventory.
And from then on, they were never out of the Premium Channels, thanks to CABAL’s Platinum Service.

Hello all! Please do check out the newly released HOLIDAY Items in the CABAL Cash Shop. Celebrate the Nevarethan Holidays by wearing your favorite Holiday Costumes! These items will only be available this Holiday Season!
There were an unusual number of people gathered about in the main town of Bloody Ice. Huddled in the middle of a huge bonfire; CABALists destined in this part of the Nevarethan continent took refuge in town as a violent snowstorm was brewing outside. Thanks to the magical powers of town officer Henkoff, the protective barrier surrounding the place made it safe from nature’s cold fury.
Weather disturbances likewise wrecked havoc in other cities across the continent: in Green Despair, a constant deluge of rain flooded pathways and the fields; Desert Scream was experiencing intense heat and frequent sandstorms; Port Lux and Fort Ruina were experiencing earthquakes and lava explosions from previously dormant volcanoes. Such weather disturbances and geological imbalance were considered usual in Nevareth at specific days in the Sage Calendar. This time, however, these unnatural occurrences were deemed to be the makings of the evil forces surrounding Nevareth.
Somewhere in the crowd, Arionell, Patren and Aike were entertaining themselves in the deep snow with their pets. Actually, it was just Arionell and Patren who were playing with a Cutie Tai and a Fancy Zard. Patren was just watching them in the sidelines.
“Haha! My pet Tai is a lot smarter than your stupid Zard!” Arionell declared, sticking out her tongue at Aike.
“My pet Zard is the best! It’s a lot cuter than that stupid Tai of yours,” Aike retorted.
“Is not!”
“Is too!”
“Is not!”
Patren, who was watching the childish banter between the two, sighed. He was always envious of all the other people who have their own pets.
Every moment he watched the people in town go around with their pets tagging alongside them, he felt a twinge of jealousy. He’s always been alone in all his journeys and having a pet as a companion will help him through the days that stretched ahead.
He left Arionell and Aike who were still debating on which pet was smarter and cuter. Their incessant rambling was beginning to irritate him, so he ventured around the area. He saw Deighton the Grocer near his usual spot at the eastern entrance to the town.
Patren sat beside Deighton in the snow, listening to his stories of the undead inhabiting the cold forests of Bloody Ice. He was so engrossed in his tales that he didn’t notice a small figure that lingered just outside the perimeters of the magical barrier.
“Oh my, what is that poor thing doing out there in the cold?” Deighton paused from his storytelling to point at the creature outside the barrier.
True enough, Patren saw the shivering form of an animal with brown coat. He quickly got up to call the attention of Officer Henkoff to lower the barrier to let the poor animal inside the town.
After doing so, Patren immediately tended the wolf-like animal and nursed it back to health. Days later, the creature was already in good condition. Patren and the furry animal took to each other like best friends.
“It seems that you’ve gotten yourself a new pet, Patren,” Deighton commented one day when both the child and animal played in the snow.
“Nope, you got that wrong, Mr. Deighton. I found a new friend in little Husky here.” Patren smiled, laughing at he hugged his new found friend.
