NATION WARS now IMPLEMENTED on LIVE SERVERS!

Good Day to all!

Today was a long day of SERVER Downtime. We would like to apologize to those who encountered issues with regards to the patching. We hope that the patching issues will stabilize as more gamers get to the game and finish downloading the updates from the patch servers.

Below are the OFFICIAL Schedules of the NATION WARS:

Personal Nation Wars–is a general battle where players receive rewards based on the number of outposts they overtake and enemies they killed.
It takes place once a day from Sunday through Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 hours.

Mission Nation Wars–after a Mission Nation War, all members of the Nation that won will receive spoils of war.
Mission Nation Wars take place once every Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00 hours and on special events.

We are open to suggestions on how to change the schedule or make the WARChannels open more than once a day. Please visit our forums tie for suggestions and feedback regarding the recent NATION WARS patch.

Scheduled Server Maintenance: August 12, 2008

Good day to all CABALists!

All CABAL Online Game Servers will undergo Scheduled Server Maintenance this August 12, 2008 from 1:00PM until 6:00PM. Gamers are reminded to avoid using short-termed periodical Items before the Scheduled Server Maintenance.

We will be integrating the Nation Wars update altogether with several bugs fixes [ie. Crafting Bug] in the live servers after the Scheduled Server Maintenance. We would like to inform everyone that after the patch there will some changes with regard to several Quest Rewards.

Changes:
1. Condition: The Beholder of the Darkness Quest
Reward Before: 2,000,000 Alz
Reward After: Honor Point 3,200

2. Condition: The Hidden Treasure Quest
Reward Before: 5,000,000 Alz
Reward After: Honor Point 4,700

3. Condition: Dungeon Complete
Reward Before: Honor Point 3,000
Reward After: Honor Point 5,000 / Core Cube

Make sure you download the MANUAL PATCH in advance.
The Manual PATCH [ZIP File] contains the updates. Gamers are advised to install the game files [overwrite/copy to the CABAL Installation Directory] only after the Scheduled SERVER Maintenance on Tuesday to avoid game file conflicts.

An open letter to CABALists and i-Cafe owners

Dear faithful gamers of CABAL,

News of some players exploiting the use of third party programs in order to gain advantage in the game has been a concern we’ve been trying to address since this has been brought to our attention.

By engaging in the use of these programs, the gaming environment tilts to an imbalanced level. While you may advance in rank and accumulate your wealth, other gamers who play and devote their earnest time in grinding become disadvantaged over this.

The use of third party programs and even private servers are an outright violation of the e-Games/CABAL Online Terms of Service, and are thus considered illegal. These actions also prove to be detrimental to the game and the community we all love.

As such, we would like to strongly encourage you, CABALists, and even our esteemed partner i-Cafes to practice fair gaming and to avoid distributing/using third party programs and private servers. Tell your friends and your customers to play and enjoy the game the normal and safe way. In that perspective, not only do you appreciate your character’s steady growth, you’ll also get to know this great community of active gamers.

Rest assured that we are still strictly enforcing the necessary penalties for those caught engaging in this illegal practice. We shall continue to remain vigilant and watchful over those who violate the rules. We hope that you will also remain the same as we continue to nurture this great community of avid CABAL players.

Patch Testing with the GMs

Hello all!
Today we tested the latest patch that will be applied in the Live Servers [Nation War Patch] hopefully on August 12, 2008. This patch is for the integration of the Nation Wars.
Aside from the Nation Wars, there are also bug fixes and changes that will be applied in the game. One would be the switch of Quest rewards for the following Quests....

Honour points play an important role in Nation Wars for these points can be used to create Force Towers for offense and defense. The system of the War is quite complex at first but once you get the gist of it, you'll enjoy it big time! We'll be posting short guides and teaser information about the Nation War system soon and will leave the detailed aspects of the War for the gamers to experience first-hand once it is already integrated in the live servers.

Onga pala, here's the tentative Schedule for the Nation Wars...

- Individual Reward: Every Monday thru Friday and Sunday @ 18:00 – 20:00

- Nation Reward: Every Saturday @ 18:00 – 20:00
