EXTENDED Downtime

Good evening to all CABALists!

We would like to inform everyone that the Scheduled Downtime for CABAL Online will be extended until further notice. This is give way for our Tech. Team and Game Support Specialists from ESTsoft to make sure that all necessary game settings and updates are configured flawlessly.

We apologize for the prolonged downtime. Rest assured, the GMs and CABAL Team will be working double time to make sure that the game will be back in the soonest possible time.

CABAL Manual Patch should be installed in your CABAL Online PH Installation Directory.
Make sure you check is the destination of the update files during the installation . It should be pointed to the correct CABAL Installation directory of your Computer.

Hello CABALists!
Below are some of the PATCH NOTES for the BIG Update today....


- Opening of the Forgotten Temple B2F Dungeon.
- Fixed Missing Image for the FT B2F Dungeon Item
- Added Staff Image Sprite to the Wizard Class
- Implementation of the PET Training System- Pet Skill Learning, Pet Renaming, Pet Sealing
- Opening of Nation/Mission Wars for Neptune Server [tentative]
- Changes in the Nation and Mission Wars:

Level Segmentation of Mission War Channels
Channel 1: Level 95 to 129
Channel 2: Level 130 to 149
Channel 3: Level 150 to 170
War Channels will open 6 times a day. ^_^

- Integrated BONUS War EXP Reward calculation if a user is a Platinum Service and Blessing Bead Plus User.

- Corrected UI Errors/Inconsistencies on Cancelled Combos Skills, Buff, Debuff Icons.
- Corrected grammatical errors/misleading statements in certain Quests texts and Item descriptions.

- Added reward for Mission Wars: Warp code of Volcanic Citadel/Forgotten Temple Entrance.
- Warp Code/Entrance of Mutant Forest/Pontus Ferrum will be part of the Premium Service GPS Warp instead.

- Extended Item Upgrade to +8/+9. Access the Core Alchemist to see the new Item Upgrade Option.
Certain amount of Alz will be spent for item upgrade depending on the Item Grade/Type
You will be able to increase the success rate of upgrading to +8/+9 if you use CORE Items during the Upgrade Process. Maximum Success Rate is at 50%

In cases of Upgrade Failure:
The Item will be destructed or dropped or lose the upgrade options when the item grade upgrade failed from upgrade level +8. (In cases of item destruction, the item will be removed/deleted).

Upgrade failure for binding items may result to:
- A decrease in Item Grade or as normal item with no item grade.
- Cancellation of account binding option / Deletion of the expanded slot / Item grade 0
- Item Destruction

Changes of Instance Dungeon Entry Level Requirements:

1 Lake in Dusk
New Level Requirement: Level 65
2 Ruina Station
New Level Requirement: Level 75
3 Frozen Tower of Undead B1F

November 25th's Downtime

Dear CABALists,

As always, we want to give you the best online gaming experience possible. Thus, we are proud to announce that CABAL Online will experience changes that will make the game bigger and better starting November.

New patches and updates will be implemented soon. As we prepare our servers for the new content, it is necessary for us to shut down our servers on November 25, 2008 from 12am to 9pm.

To compensate for the prolonged downtime, we will be giving all CABALists two (2) pieces of Blessing Bead Plus [1 Day]. Platinum Service users will also receive an additional +25% EXP [1 Day] Bead on November 25th.

In preparation for the upcoming MAJOR Patch this November 25th, you can now download the PASSWORD-Protected Manual PAtch in advance to avoid the SERVER Traffic on the day the patch will be released in the LIVE SERVERS.

Please wait for the OFFICIAL Announcement of the MANUAL Patch PASSWORD before installing the patch in your Game Clients.

Pet Skill Training to go live on November 25

Greetings, CABALists!

As you continue your quest for power, fame and glory in the fantastic lands of Nevareth, you will encounter obstacles that are too difficult to tackle alone. Thus, the Sages developed a system that will allow you to capture creatures and monsters and train them to be helpful companions.

Once you have successfully trained a creature or monster, it will become your pet and will follow you anywhere you go. You will become its master and will serve and assist you in your battles. However, its power to help will depend on how well you trained your pet.
Pets can acquire different skills that can make them formidable allies. As you fight monsters, your pet will gain experience and knowledge on how to protect you. As they accumulate experience points, their capability to learn skills will also grow.

All pets will start at Level 1 with only one (1) pet skill slot. This means that initially, they can only learn one skill. More pet slots will become available as they gain more levels.

To train your pet, approach the core alchemist in your area and ask for Pet Training. Remember, we alchemists need one (1) Force Core Highest to bring out your pet’s full potential. Please have it ready before you opt to train your pet.

Once you have decided to accept the training, find the Pet Training option under the Upgrade category. To start the training, deactivate your pet then drag it to the pet slot in the Pet Training window. After that, press the Train Pet button. The success rate of the training is 100%; however, the slot options or pet skills that your pet will get are random.

Training your pet needs patience and perseverance. The responsibility is great but I assure you, your efforts will not be in vain because your pet will give back to you everything that you have done for it. It will stay with you as long as you want it to, watching your back and helping you in your quests.

Pet Renaming

In order to customize the name of your PET, you have to have a PET Rename Card
Temporarily, the Pet Rename Card will be made available from an NPC.

Pet Rename Card (Tradable) will be available at Port Lux. Grocer NPC for 100,000,000 Alz for the first month of release only. After the first month, the PET Rename CARD will only be available in the CABAL CASH Shop.


Right Click on the PET Rename Card and Click on the PET Card you wish to rename.

You will be asked to enter the name for your Pet. Please take note that you can use duplicate names for your Pet.

After choosing and typing in you desired name for your Pet, just press the OK button to finalize the renaming.


Pet Sealing [Sleeping Function]

CABAL Pets become instantly loyal to whoever adopts them; making them hard to trade.

With the use of Pet Sleeping Kits, pets fall asleep and when they wake up; they instantly bond with their new master.

As a complimentary bonus from CABAL Online, we will be giving 1 piece of Level 1 Sleeping Kit [Account Binding] to all users who have existing PETS by November 25th downtime.

Ex. If USER A have 3 Pets by November 25th, he/she will get 3pcs. of Level 1 Sleeping Kits automatically after the downtime on November 25th.

Please be reminded that the Level of your Pet Sleeping Kit should be the same with the Level of your pet.

To use: Right Click on the Pet Sleeping Kit and Click on your Pet Card to seal the Pet.
Requirement: Character/Pet Level: Lvl. 1 and above
Battle Style: Any
This is an account Binding Item
Effect: Seal your Pet for Trade. Once a Pet is Sealed, you can trade them with other Gamers.
